"2023 was my first year teaching full time at Charity, and I can’t wait to meet the newest pre-k class. I have been substituting at Charity for a few years and finally decided to jump all in! I’ve lived in the Creeds area my whole life and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I am a mother of two wonderful children, ages 9 and 6. (Both graduated from Charity.) And I know this is the best preschool because I graduated from here myself many years ago! When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me on the beach with my family, in the garden with our dog Millie, or drinking a big cup of coffee with a good book"

Ms. Amy
Lead Teacher in the 5-day 3'sRoom 210
I'm a local girl, born and raised, who lives in Pungo and a member of Charity Church. I have been married 25 years with two beautiful daughters, (who both attended Charity Preschool), and 4 sweet, furry cat "sons"! At our preschool I don't feel like I "work" with children but I have the awesome chance to play with them sharing in moments of creating, experimenting and exploring!

I worked at Charity Preschool for over 25 years. I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. All 4 have attended Charity Preschool and loved their time there. When my children were in school, I always volunteered at their schools. I have always loved being with children. I still volunteer at Creeds Elementary School. I hope I can make a little bit of difference in a child's love of learning. There's nothing better than seeing the light in a child's eyes when they master a simple concept such as using scissors correctly. There is one thing better - when you get a hug from a child and an "I love you".
